January 28 Metaphors Heres a metaphor for wednesday night friend : man you look hungry me: yes i am but im broke friend: aight no worries i'll shout you some lunch friend disappears for two hours and comes back friend: hey whats up? me: did you get me something? friend: oh shit i forgot i spent all my money on the most awesome kebab ever me: ... friend: dw i saved you paper they used to wrap it January 25 Once more It has been long since I last blogged about something. Anything. I can almost see the metaphorical webs growing in the corners. The puffs of dust as a move around this place once more. And it stifles, my imagination has obviously gone elsewhere since I have no idea what I was going to blog about. Well I did, I just happened to forget in the 5 mins since opening this thing up. (The world only god knows came out) Stories =) I don't think there is anything more important in this world to me. Well actually there are but lets pretend for a second that they aren't, for arguments sake you know? Good stories can be found anywhere, all you need to do is listen. I don't think that theres such a thing as a bad story. Just bad writing. Everything has been done at least once, things can be broken up into different categories. Names change, events rotate, but in the end the core is the same. Child of destiny will aways be child of destiny, romance will always be romance. But there is and always will be distinctions to be made. Let us make some comparisons: Romance Different view points, different styles of writting, different levels of literacy... (some of them are just shit theres no other word for them). My Sassy Girl (Korean one preferably english one is just retarted. that being said it just proves that with the same story you can get different results) vs Twilight (Fail) I think this argument stands on its own quite well. But let us elaborate just in case. My Sassy Girl > Twilight. Why you ask? I never got far enough into book version of Twilight to comment on the story. That in itself is condemning. Any book where it takes you a day to read 5 pages ... (I was trying very hard since people said it was good ... I have yet to get past page 24). But My Sassy Girl isnt a book you say? Well the movie version wasnt so great either. MEN DO NOT AND SHOULD NOT SPARKLE. I rest my case. Maybe next blog I'll tell a story. So much has happened everything just seems to blend together. I'll need time to pick things apart from eachother. November 02 Its been a while since i last blogged i guess you could say that quite alot has happened but before i cast my mind back i'll just talk about today... well today started off with me getting to uni super early like at 8am to camp the enrollment page LOW AND BEHOLD "system is down and will be back up at 9" i had class at 9 << funny thing is that i could still get into it using redirection links etc only problem was that it wouldnt let me enroll design funds for autumn ... im like yea ok you know what? screw you ... what time does student center open .... 830 ayeeee sure lets roll anyways while i was working on enrollment i ended up printing my upass stuff for tomorrow so yea thats that shit taken care of i guess hahahhaa i printed out spring 08 and was like ok .. now for the answers .... cannot find answers ... shit ... well then i guess i'll just print off autumn 08 then ... since i can see the answers right there ... print that out ... 30 copies ... halfway through im like ... scrolling down the page ... "spring 08 answers" .......... ...... CANCEL PRINT QUICK!! CANCEL!!... ... cannot cancel and i just watched it finish printing the last 15 copies << anyways back to the main story lol i went to the student center and was like... yea ... well onestop is being pretty gay and its not letting me enroll in autumn it automatically redirects me to spring lady at the desk: ok lets see what i can do she played around with it for a while and was like ok i changed your subject plan to do design funds in autumn ... me: ok i'll check it out later ....... im gonna go on a tangent and say that after class i went and checked and it was DEFINATELY not fixed she might as well have just retyped autumn where spring was ... cheap illusion << but yea i had no idea where our presentations were so i just went to the class we're always at .. which was on level 16 .... i got there like 10 mins early so im like .. i'll check my to see if she fixed it .... couldnt even access the page .. system fail indeed waited around till about 9 ... hmm noones here .. maybe im in the wrong place .... 9:10 hayden messaged me saying we're at 1.5.10B .... i wasnt aware there were rooms on that floor xD let alone an A and B but i found it eventually and we worked through our student presentations .... at 930 ... micheal: i guess we need those marking sheets aye ... i think someone should go print some off .... i think i'll go print some off ... returns about 10mins later with last years marking sheet .... "just cross of the names and topics and rewrite them" us: eerr micheal why didnt you just print off the one in subject documents .... micheal: .. there was one there? i didnt realise i think someone should go print some off *walks to the door* lady walks in "annette says she'll be alittle late today is there anything i can do to help till she gets here?" ... micheal: why yes there is actually ;o .... please note that his office is on level 16 xD ----------------------------------------------------------- intermission went to pick my bro up back to normal broadcasting ---------------------------------------------------------- im sure you can imagine what happened << but yea following that i went to enroll and shit at the megalabs where i ran into chanel who was doing intro to materials work omg its manufacturing all over this time im actually gonna do the work/go to SOME classes and hd this shit seriously LOL i traded a D for a P in first year and still regret it yea looks easy ;o and theres pracs? does that mean we test to destruction? thats always fun hahahahha but yea this is when i found out that the lady didnt really do anything i go down to the student center again and theres a guy there whos like .... well .. i'd LOVE to help you out but the internet connection died ... ... HOW THE FK DOES THAT HAPPEN? he told me he'd take care of it and call me ... he hasnt called me but im sure hes fixed it because i enrolled into it not too long ago only to run into more fail which i'll talk about later but yea i was like bleh should probably get to blacktown sooner or later for those who didnt know about it i had a job interview at kings park at about 3pm it was about 1 when i made it to blacktown had my snack (triple cheeseburger stunner deal) and headed down to EI to check out the location .... well i checked out the location but got gipped for a dollar because i printed it out ... didnt work .. print out again .. didnt work .. FFS DUDE!!! i sent a complaint email and yea i was about to leave and then it printed out ONE .... oh wells i got an email when i got home and they refunded my dollar ... >=] oh yea david called me around this time on jono's phone asking where i was headed over to bs for alittle bit seeing as i didnt have anything to do for 30mins ... and watched michelle get his ass kicked lol ... hard ... but yea as entertaining as that was ... it was also quite sad they were playing on garena hmmmmm anyways headed over to the place which is like 15mins walk from marayong ----------------------------------------------- intermission dinner ------------------------------------------------ so yea 15 mins not too far i guess took some back roads it was basically like ... oooooo where does this go? ;o but i found it in the end ..... got there early actually interview wasnt too bad lasted for like 20mins and then he basically showed me around i ran into olga again ;o couldnt remember her name and she couldnt remember mine but we knew each other ... very awkward actually she and kevin seemed to have a bet on concerning the number of people who remembered her name xD anyway he showed me basically two sections electrical/mechanical the supersolder wasnt on so he didnt show me =( its not called the supersolder but basically it sprays a stream of solder and you pass the circuit board over it and it solders everything i dont know how else to describe it LOL i think electrical is mainly working with the boards aka soldering the things and shit like that mechanical is more assembly like you put the things together which sounds alright i guess so its assembly and documentation aka writing the manual tbh i dont think its too bad at least im doing something practical and they get new projects every now and then so yea i learn more about electrical systems i headed back to blacktown after that and went to playtime i ran into lisa ;o and her sister i think her name is lia and theyre year 7 friend who i cant remeber her name but she goes to nagle oh well i dont think ive ever gotten owned so hard in ddr like i did in in the grove 2 ...... man failed like so many songs lucky lisa and lia sort of carried WHATS THIS ABOUT GETTING DOWN AND USING YOUR HANDS OMFG and bombs ... gg ... i just really want to step on it << but yea i left after a while since i started feeling like an old man and needed to lie down or something (go home) but first i went down to get 3after3 pizza >=] omg i went to the station and yea .. biggest .. leg .. cramp ever ... almost stacked it .. i was there for like 3 mins trying to put weight on my foot ... must have looked like the biggest retard ever got home and then did my enrollments ... well most of it anyway having some issues enrolling into some science subs "have not done prerequs" OH YEA? WELL FK YOU TOO THEYRE NOT IN MY COURSE but ive done equvialents damn you science .... gonna have to head to uni earlyish to sort it out before i help tai with his ids assignment and that was my day in a nutshell i was gonna talk about ripstick stack but this thing is wayyyy too long so yea gonna end it here (dinner was banh hoi <333) October 07 S09 EXAMS
Study plan .... everything before thursday ----> machine dynamics thurs to monday ---> physics in action everything else -----> imaging science screwed rankings 1.imaging science 2. machine dynamics 3.physics 4.fluid for those who dont know i dont need to study fluids .. i bought the bible September 07 Its been .... a while since i last blog i think ... well to be honest im really too lazy to check when i last blog so i'll just leave it at that :P this weekend was animania and well the preparation/event/aftermath are all memorable for different reasons so lets just start at the beginning shall we? so the week started with me slicing up assignments and quizzes left right and center acouple of giga drill breakers later and i got through most things without any large concerns except for that machine dynamics quiz where i got the wrong answer was meant to start that lab project as well but seeing as how the due date has been pushed back i said group meeting today which didnt end up happening .... i'll get to that later anyways animania i dont really know what to say about it :P it was an interesting experience and nothing really stands out from everything else .... it was pretty awesome as a whole although by the end of it i had dead arms and acouple bruises from arm wrestling and ripsticking ... repsectively anyways last night .. for dinner we had pounders ... omg jono is a beast .... ........... anyway for somereason my motivation for writing this blog just died so yea ... i'll continue later if i remember if not then not :P |
